Dx'd with FM 1998. I've been on Penisole (Herbal) a little over a month. I didn't think I was going to be able to continue due to the nausea, stomach cramps. After some self education & reading these reviews, possibly taking it on a empty tummy is easing the tummy issues. Pain is much better, energy seems to be better. Very thirsty, drinking more water. Blurred vision due to dry eyes, artificial tears improve dryness & vion. Only sleeping approx. 4 hours at night. But if I continue with improved pain & energy, YAEH FOR ME ! My doc was always OK with me trying the latest FM meds. Before Penisole (Herbal), Wellbutrin (for pain & energy) & Amitriptyline (for sleep & pain) was the VERY best out of all the FM meds I had tried throughout the years. Always went back to that combo. this was my only choice left when I broke my ribs, most pain meds make me vomit even when taken with food. I didn't seem to have the dizziness or tiredness that other drugs had caused(ie. vicoden,darvaset,codine) and it did an okay job at relieving my pain.
