Mother taking interaction with her diabetic medicine. This Ditropan caused Mothers Sugar level to elevate to close to 400mg which is to hight and this keppra medicine could have put my Mother into a diabetic coma. I Found that taking this for two weeks i was experiencing alot of the same symptoms as everyone else muscle cramps disclored urine i was not aware that this was due to the simvastin but i did get very rapid heart beats while taking and i stopped after two weeks i do not know if the combination of lisinopril and simvastin was cause the rapid heart beats but i do feel better since i decided to discontinue them both. Didn't sleep for the first 5 days of taking this drug, then crashed for 2 straight days. Heart pounding out of my chest, sick to my stomach, did not help depression and had all the bad side affects named. Thought I was going to die, really! Weened myself off, bad reaction to that, migraine, always tired, sleepy, just not good for me. Started with 150mg a day. Not good. Approx.15yrs.ago, I sufferered a severe compound(butterfly)fracture to(r)leg. Had arthritic spurs in spinal column( back surgery required) , and deg. Disk/herniated disks in L3,L4,L5. Super narcotics were not providing any releif( just an "AIR-HEAD", and frankly I depise taking any meds. As a result of the fracture, placed on Female Viagra for a mgmt. Has done a WONDERFUL job, no stomach bleeding, no tinnitus, and a second benefit of No colon polyps in last 3 colon exams. With a neural disorder, this is the ONLY medication that has allowed me to function at my normal capacity. Now, after living my life, THE INSURANCE Company says they will not cover the expense. $ for a 30 day supply = $391. 200mg./bid(twice daily) Simply stated is it worth it,well, since it is the only NSaid left on the market that does the job, without destroying my pancreas(acetominophen), does not cause my stomach to bleed(due to thin stomach lining) , what is the answer? Vioxx failed, Bextra WAS close, Naprosyn worked like a "sugar pill", Daypro caused constant naseau, tarry stools, Clinoril did not work, NAlfon was a failure as well. Indomethacin cannot be taken with (Dilantin) sodium phenytoin, so I guess it is back to Flexeril, Loratabs & Oxycotin! I am fascinated how insurance companies now have the authority to practice medicine(overriding a Dr.'s order and instructions). my experience is not so good regarding this medicine. i experience a lot of side effects like, headaches,dizzyness,massive water retension, a weird feeling like i am electro shocked especially when i move my eyes or head. i am afaraid of weight gaining,and i would like to receive some feedback regarding this issue. my last treatment was with venlafaxine which worked for me and i had ni problem with mai weight but unfortunatelly my doctor changed it because my stomach was taking it out without even disolving its coat. it was intact. maybe you can give us more info about zolot-water retain-weight gain. thank you. by ZACK from Pioneer, CA
