It was prescribed to me for a bulging disk until I could have an epidural. I also have fibromyalgia. It helped me so much with the fibro. pain with no bad side effects. I was able to move around 20 min. after taking it in the morning. Do house work, tend to my daughter. But, after my epidural my Dr. took me off of it. My rumo. Dr. has tried me on Cymbalta, that made me feel awful. I now take tramadol and neurontin. It helps better than nothing. What I don't get is the Cymbalta and Lyrica have worse side effects, worse withdrawl systems. Why they don't just prescribe hydrocodone for fibro.
