Great drug for serious, chronic pain. It is physically addictive. Missing a dose will bring sickness in about 12-16 hours. I've been using this medication for almost 7 years now, the only side effect for me at this point is constipation. Unfortunately, this drug is widely abused. I have been on the generic adderall for about 4 months now 20mgs 2xday. It has worked wonders for me at work and my home life with the boyfriend. The hardest part is im a 2nd shifter. so i will stay up till like 4am and want to get up at 2 right before work. Making me feel like im rushing everywhere before i take my meds. I take my med at 2:30pm and at 7pm. B4 i got on it i had a hard time remember what my boss told me to do. I kept losing my tools for my job. i would forget to fill out all my paper work. And since i started taking it i'm very focused my rate has gone up. I remember where i leave stuff. I have always love to workout but, now i stay more focused on my diet and exercise. And i have helpped many people around me with health issues and to get closer to God. It has helpped me so much. i wish now that my parents would of not been so against ADHD meds. when i was a kid i had a lot of trouble in school. I got alot of help from the teachers they would read my test to me so i could hear it and see it at the same time. I know now that i would of got better grades and not suffered so much if my parents would of not jugded everything by what they hear on the news about kids beating up kids for retalin on the bus. It has worked wonders and i dont plan on taking it my whole life it just has helpped me get my lifed turned around. I have always loved to make people smile with the dorky little things and sound effects i make just for fun and i know you make awesome sound effects to if you have the same prob:) I have not lost my wonderful personality. I am very greatful for the chance to get my life on track for once and not be lost in lifes smallest things anymore. I have tried concerta but was very expensive. and retalin but it made my stomach ache and i got mood swings. I hope i have helpped someone out there by them reading this.
