I noticed a difference in about two weeks, in combination with Clonazapam 1mg a day and fluoxetine 40mg aday. The fluoxetine helped with my deppression; but not anxiety. So iwas started on clonazapam; but still had some anxiety. I started on the Buspirone slowly 1 a day for two days, then two a day for a week then two twice a day from then on(total 60 mg a day). I feel wonderfull!! After years of deppression, and anxiety, I finally found a doctor who took it all away with this medication. my Dr put me on Cipralex over 2 years ago, and am now seeing that It's not for long term use! I,ve had a Disc replaced in my neck, yet I have no way to Prove it was because of Cipralex, although the side effects say it can cause this type of problem, I've had both knee's go out, just to be treated with more med's, I cant sleep more then 4 hr's, and have RLS. I can go on, but Im not. I'm off the med as of yesterday, im looking for a laywer, and talking to my Dr. tomorrow and ask him why he did'nt think that my health problems were not related to cipro, and choose to treat each symtom and allow this to happen..PLEASE BEWARE by WILBURN from Pickford, MI
After 2 weeks on the 40mg tablet I had severe pain in my feet&hands.Burning,shooting pains that kept me awake-nothing relieved the pain.Then I started going into a state of severe exhaustion by the end of each day.My arms&legs felt like leaden weights.I could barely move them and normally I am a very active person.This went on for the 3rd week and finally I stopped the Cymbalta.It took another full week to slowly recover from all the side effects but I am starting to feel normal again.I would rather take my chances with diet,weight loss & exercise rather than take any cholesterol drugs again. by KURT from Pelzer, SC
