I have tried many antidepressants and unfortunately over the years of use, I have gained an enormous amount of weight. I am currently taking a combination of dexadrine and celexa and am still noticing a steady increase in weight gain. The drug itself works well in masking depression symptoms, however I notice that I feel like I am in a constant fog and could care less about my surrounding environment. I often wonder if it is better to fight the depression naturally and maintain a healthy weight, or remain on this drug and continue to gain weight, feel like I am in a fog and not remember a darn thing from one day to the next. I experienced a panic attack in early 2009. I was perscribed this med to deter anxiety, depression. I recently stopped the med and have experienced the same "shock" and "tremor" withdraw symptoms as an earlier review here. I can not tell you how thankful I am for the that review, I thought something else might be going on.
