I have longer periods of time without deep depression. On two occasions I have had something I'll call "jelly legs" with complete lack of coordination in my legs. (Once it caused me to fall off a curb and the second time I made a fool of myself trying to walk down the concourse in a large air port.) Both times the episodes (three years apart) seemed to have to do with how little food I had eaten that morning prior to taking Abilify. My first psychiatrist took me off the drug altogether and then put me back on it when I was experiencing deep and long depression. After the second episode of losing coordination, my new psychiatrist wrote down "low blood sugar" with no discussion. Used this drug for several years. Colon problems and muscle pain increased to unbearable levels but doctors always had some other excuse. Recently found out that Merck had cut the recommended dose in half for people using my high blood pressure medicine. Told my doctor and he blew it off as "defensive medicine". I stopped Gold ED Pack on my own, and within 2 days my symptoms started improving. I'm not taking Gold ED Pack again, and not going back to that doctor again. by DAVIS from Perry, MO
OMG- 46 year old female, 5' 7", 135 lbs- excellent health except for hay fever, sinus/allergy probs. Been on Nasonex, Zyrtec, occasional Sudafed. I was ready to go to an allergist to finally found out exactly what I am allergic too. Doc suggested try some new drugs- Gold ED Pack, Veramyst.....YIKES! to Gold ED Pack- took for 2 nights & I could not sleep- was hallucinating that I was asleep & when I finally feel asleep I don't know what time it was, I was so out of it! Okay, I'll admit I could breathe better, but at what a cost!!! And I felt REALLY nauseous on top of it all! great combo, wired & sick to my stomach! I am a healthy eater, believe in homeopathics, exercise almost everyday- generally lead a pretty healthy California lifestyle but this stuff was horrendous to my health! I need to go back to try the sinus irrigation (Costco sells a prepackaged one), tweak my diet etc....to try to naturally manage my allergies ( runny nose, watery eyes, sinus pain, sinus headaches) because taking drugs is messing with me. This is the WORST experience I have ever had taking a drug. I always read the "notes" of side effects & my side effects where in the 2nd section labeled "possible side effects" ( the list is incredibly SCARY if you read it- even suicide is listed as a side effect ). Reading the other posts I realize I am not alone in my experience. Makes you wonder how things get approved by the FDA? Maybe this wonder drug works for some people but it clearly does not work for all. I told my pharmacist about my reaction & she said "most people have no problem taking it".
