I had a cervical laminectomy in 2004 - it was all good for about 2 years and then severe pain started and progressed into muscle spasms, and intermittent numbness/tingling sensations in both arms and hands and left leg and foot. Recommended a spinal fusion (rejected on basis that it would only offer positive effects for 1 to maybe 2 years before I would end up as bad or worse than I am now) I was given Baclofen to try...I take Soma and use the Baclofen for the extreme spasm days..it helps more than Soma when I get into a really severe episode, but it makes me really short of breath, so I don't use it much due to that fact - doc said it's a reaction to the med, but I seem to do okay when I use it sparingly. by WALDO from Bendena, KS

After several heart attacks. I took plavix to prevent "occular strokes", because 2- other family members had the strokes and lost yhere eye sight in one eye.Then after a 3-week period of being off the med's. I was on for 8 years; I began to feel much better, more awake less shakey,less anxioty and an over all feeling of well being. I even had a blister rash that went away. Went back on for 3-days then off because by the third day I could not even get out of bed.I just stopped and will see the Dr. in a few days.
