The antibiotic helped within the first 12 hours and every day I can feel that I am getting better. My nurse practitioner prescribed 500mg twice a day and I haven't gotten any diarrhea. When I don't take it with food, I get a little nausea but no vomiting. She also advised me to use pseudophedrine which I did yesterday & that helped as well. I am also using Dr Neil's Med Sinus Rinse (which is over the counter) and that helps get all the nasty green mucus out and I try to do this 2 x a day. I also take tylenol extra strength as prescribed to take the aches away. Hope this helps anyone else who is battling a terrible sinus infection.
