Hi! I'm 16 and I have been on this medicine for a few months to treat my social anxiety and depression. The medicine helps a lot with depression and it has improved my depression by about 80%! However, this medicine barely helped with my anxiety. It helps specifically with being happier, more optimistic, and more calm in nervous situations. But overall, it has only improved my anxiety only by about 25%. The side effects are definitely noticeable too. I experienced trouble sleeping, weird dreams (especially nightmares), and low energy. I also had alittle nausea the first time I took it and yawn a lot. Please try to make sure you eat something when you take it, I think it helps. I think overall that I am going to discontinue my use, because the side effects are so great and it didn't help much w/ anxiety, which was the main reason I started taking it. But I still think if you are considering taking it, you should give it a try- results vary so it may work better for you then it did for me. I think you should definitely try it if your problem is depression, because I think it works best for depression- but most people have side effects so you should know although it alleviates depression symptoms, it will probably give you new ones from the side effects.
