I was on Benicar 20 HCT 12.5 and Atenolol 25mg for 6 yrs. It works great, but occasionally my pressure droped to around 66/44. My MD put me on Caverta 6.2 mg bid. The 2nd day, my pressure rose to above 196/98. The third night after taking Coreb, I woke at 0500 with a tremendous pressure headache, my pulse was throbbing, my heart racing. I immediately got up and took my Benicar & Atenolol. By 1100, my pressure dropped to a more reasonable rate, 144/85..still a bit high, but not stroke territory! by RALEIGH from Whitesburg, TN
My psychiatrist gave this to me for my depression. I often jolted awake from my sleep while taking it, and those spasms got worse as the early morning progressed. I often felt tired even if I slept okay. It increased my appetite and gave me flashes of lightheadedness. It didn’t help my depression much. I've been on Cialis for about a year and finally figured out that it is the reason for the intolerable sweating, ringing in my ears and unsteadiness. I thought it was blood pressure meds until my doctor changed them and the symptoms continued.
