When I first started this medication I was swung into a manic state which I think was just because of a new drug into my system and just when I was about to put myself in the hospital due to psychotic symptoms my life became clear again. This drug was prescribed for me mid September. I took it for 4 weeks. During this time I started to feel like I had a sore throat coming on. Then I had trouble swallowing. Next, I started getting an acid taste in my mouth. I then developed headaches from hell and finally stopped taking this crap 2 weeks ago. Last week, my doctor told me I had serious LPR, acute acid reflux. I started with 30 MG for depression and anxiety. I must say it doesn't affect my sex drive. I'm now on 60 MG. I've managed not to gain any weight so far because I'm on a constant vigil despite the mad increase in appetite. I stay hungry. I don't know how much longer I can go on without weight gain. I feel that inevitably I will succumb to a significant increase in weight. It's like having the munchies when I was self medicating. It’s a bummer because it works well for me for depression and against anxiety. I got off my previous depression medication because of the lack of sex drive.
