Over the past few years I developed a fear of falling, the phobia increased so that I was holding on to walls within our home, unable to walk to my car, even with 2 canes, petrified in parking lots, even with a shopping card. A psychiatrist put me on 5 mg. 2x a day, but the AM dose left me too groggy, the 5 mg. PM dose gave me the kind of sleep I haven't had since I was a teenager (deep, wonderful dream-filled sleep). After 3 weeks, my anxiety began to lesson, after 6 weeks I was walking around not holding onto walls. It has changed me life. I'm calmer & the little stuff doesn't bother me any more. The 10 lb. I gained after breaking my back, I can't seem to lose, so weight loss is harder, my strong libido is nearly non-existent, but I don't care, I'm not filled with dread & anxiety. I'm not worried all the time. Close friends have noticed these changes. After 9 months, I have no plans to discontinue it. Some of the night sweats others are feeling are probably peri-menopause. It is hard on the stomach, I took it with 2 75 mg. Zantac for the first 2 weeks, then 1 Zantac for another 2 weeks, now my stomach is used to it. I take it before bedtime. So the nausea others have experienced might be alleviated by taking it with a Zantac because Terbinafine is an acidic drug. 5 mg. works so well for me, I'm incredulous as to the high doses that others are on. I been on Ms contin 60mg for about 8 yrs now and take percocet 10mg for break through pain every four hours..I took oxys 40 for awhile but could not afford them..I been going to ask my doctor about changing from the Morphine to oxys but i dont understand all this change..My question is (is there a generic oxy avaliable..and what is this new version all about?If someone could explain this too me I would be grateful. I was put on this for my depression. I have been on 7 other medicines over the past 2 years and haven't had much luck. I did enjoy the sleep I got with Topamax 30 mg but I have severe mood changes and really bad anger issues. I have only been on this for one week and have also gained about 5 pounds am always hungry. I started taking this med just before Christmas. I have MS and I have a lot of pain and depression. I was looking here to see how others felt about this med.
