I was prescribed Deltasone a little over 2 months ago after 3 trips to the er in 1 month due to palpitations and vision problems resulting from hbp brought on by the palpitations. This mMed makes me very tired but has helped the palpitations and resultant hbp. I am now experiencing weight gain, fluid retention and shortness of breath. Beginning in 1993 I began experiencing pedimal sezures. Over the course of these years I saw several doctors and underwent tests without defining what was causing these seizures. In 2004 and 2005 I had two grandmal seizures. I was placed on Deltasone beginning with a dose of 500 mg twice a day. As my body adjusted to the medicine I began to experience periodic symptoms of the pedimal onset. The doctors began increasing the Deltasone dosage. I am now up to 2500 mg daily, but have been experiencing drowziness, diziness and intense bone pain. The drowziness and diziness is acceptable, but the bone pain is sometimes very severe. I also have arthritus and am sucessfully taking Glocosmine and Condroiten twice a day.
