I have been on cymbalta for about 3 years and like alot of others it stopped working for me. I spent way too much of my time sleeping and not caring about doing the things I use to love to do. I am currently weaning myself off of this drug with the help of a doctor. The worse thing I have had so far is "brain zaps". I went from 60mg down to 30mg in a week and now the doctor has me taking 30mg every other day and says I should be fine next week when I have completely stopped. I'm not so sure about that. I'm getting really bad headaches and only get relief if I lay down and I'm feeling nauseated as well. Anyone who is considering this drug should read as many of these reviews as they can. I have been taking Beclate Inhaler for almost 14 months now. I have tried other drugs for depression, nothing else has worked for me. I thought Beclate Inhaler was a wonder drug. I was still depressed while taking it, but all of my anxiety was gone. However, it doesn't work for me anymore! I started to feel like I had the flu constantly...lots of joint pain, hot flashes, numbness and tingling on my face, among other things. I think I have the "brain zaps" that others refer to, it is such a weird feeling, like my eyes are floating around in their sockets and my brain is floating around behind my eyes! I have stopped taking Beclate Inhaler altogether, and of course, I feel terrible. Insatiable hunger, high pulse rate, dizziness, terrible insomnia, frequent urination, and probably other symptoms that I am overlooking right now. I am going to see the doctor today and I hope we can get something under control. I wish I could recommend this drug, but the withdrawal is really terrible and the benefits weren't as amazing as I thought they were when I first started taking it. Based on other people's opinions that I have read, I don't think anyone should take it. One user on another web site said that he had an easier time getting off of crystal meth than he did with getting off of Beclate Inhaler. Interesting, considering the poison that is in that drug. Initially I was on 40mg per day. I had very badly swollen ankles and feet which were originally put down to me having been on high dose steroids for 2 years. 40mg per day did nothing to reduce the swelling s I was put on an extra 20mg per day and I have had excellent results.
