This is a devil drug. Altered my sleep pattern, major fatigue, weakness, blurred vision and most of all feeling like I was always hoarse and short of breath. Developed chronic dry annoying cough. By the end of my day I could hardly speak above a whisper. Started having cramps as well. Left the drug off a couple of days and noticed immediate change. I have a totally different twist on this drug. About 20 years ago I had my first blood pressure reading that was high. Stayed in the range of 130's over 90's. After years of trying several drugs and therapies to treat high blood pressure, none of which worked, I discussed with my doctor my social anxiety issues. I have spent my life avoiding social situations when possible. He prescribed Buspirone as a beginning therapy to see if my high blood pressure was caused by the so called white coat syndrome.Immediately my blood pressure normalized and has stayed perfect for the last 3 years since I started this drug. It has never made my feelings of anxiety better. I am here writing this review as I was studying the drug because in the last couple months it seems to have lost it's effect on my blood pressure or I have other problems now as my blood pressure is remaining high again. Will be talking this over with the doctor in the next couple weeks. So, I can't say anything about it's affect on my outward anxiety but it had some positive internal effect on my blood pressure. I can't take more than a half a tablet at a time as it gives me a strange dizzy feeling. Interesting to hear about the weight gain as I have definitely gained weight.
