My 12 yr old son has been on Keppra for 5 yrs started at 18 mg, now 54mg. !st cpl yrs worked ok at school but out of system b4 he got home. The last 2+ yrs health has gone down hill. From weight gain to migranes, throwing up, bloody nose and now liver damage. I was happy with the results at lower doses, not so with the higher dose. He is now off the drugs and we are trying again to handle this holistically. Was against the drugs from the beginning but he wasn't doing well in school. I was put on this medication for Generalized Anxiety Disorder. It has been two weeks and i straight up feel like crap. The second night on it i vomited. I sweat more than usual. ive been on coumadin off and on since 2004.This is my 4th thime being on it for blood clots in the legs. The most serious incident with the clots was this year 2011 when i had 4 clots 3 in my legs and 1 in my lungs.None of the drs.knows whats causing all these blood clots to form.They have done all the necessary tests and theyve all come back normal.So if someone could explain why im getting these clots all the time I would appreciate feedback on how to prevent this from happening again. by ALFREDO from Faulkner, MD
