My son was taking concerta 36mg and it worked for him for about 6 months. Then he started to loose focus and having problems in school again. So he was changed to 54mg. After 3 weeks, his hair started falling out in 2 spots and he started hallucinating and crying about it. The doctor wanted to take him off meds for a month but his behavior at school was very disruptive. He was unfocused and not doing any classwork. His teacher preferred that he stayed at home unless he could back on the meds. At home, he was worst with his siblings and myself. We had to put him back on meds after being off for 2 weeks. I took the first dose and all was well, It took the edge off my pain to the point that I was satisfied so then the second dose not quite the same relief but some. I have been taking 20mg Lisiopril for over 2 years, i works great! no bad mood swings.
