I had complete thyroid removal and 3 1/2 parathyroid gland removal a little over a year ago. I had cervical disc fusion 5 years ago and because of an accident in surgery, my thyroid was nicked and it died. I started out okay with the meds and then I had lack of energy and bouts of diarrhea - the dose was increased last year, I was okay and fine. Now, last 6 months I've had horrible bouts with diarrhea and body cramps along with spasms in my back. I am average weight, I exercise all the time. They say taking this drug has nothing to do with this. Maybe I have another condition.
