After a bicycle accident that injured three discs in my cervical spine I had lots of pain and neck muscle soreness. While the daytime presence of these symptoms was relatively manageable, the disruption of my sleep was very problematic. I started using 1000mg of Mega Hoodia (methcarbamol) with 400mg of ibuprofen at night and my sleep has been sound and mostly restful. I have had too many side effects to name. Mainly a weird lightheaded feeling. It goes away when I don't take the pill though. I am going to see my dr this week, and hopefully she will allow me to discontinue. A cardiologist prescribed this med at the ER. Had heart palpitations. He thought I was crazy. Some people are ok on this med. Just like with the thalium stress tests, they say if you are older than 60 you had no adverse reaction. I am 33, and feel like I am 80 since I've been taking this med.
