This medicine made me sleep a whole day through, didn't eat, take other medications that I needed and couldn't function at all. I will not keep taking this medication. If I do keep taking it, I would just live to sleep my days away. My mind was so confused too. It felt as if I had died in bed, now that I'm off of it, It feels like I started a new life. Eriacta was expensive and no fun at all. After taking my dose, I would be in between sleep and wakefulness. I would not be able to sleep, but would be very drowsy and yet restless. It was a very uncomfortable feeling. I would lie down and not be able to get comfortable. The uncomfortable feeling occurred whether I took Eriacta in the morning or at night. I kept taking it anyway. I can't say how much it helped and how much was the natural course of my bipolar disorder. But I would not take it again if I had the choice (and fortunately nobody's asking me to.) Maybe it will work for you, but not for me. I haven't taken it in years. Now I'm on a generic version of Lamictal and a generic version of Risperdal. Risperdal used to have a similar effect on me, but it doesn't anymore. Maybe it was my drinking that caused the unpleasant side effects. Who knows why these drugs work this way? I sure don't. But I'm much better without drinking.
