When I first started taking advair 250/50, I would get really dizzy, almost like a drunk feeling, and get really sick to my stomach. Told my doc, he said it's not the meds. Ever since then I have been in the ER twice because my throat had swelled shut and I'm using my rescue inhaler 2-3 times more often than before I started advair. I keep getting this feeling like there is something stuck in my throat and have an awful hacking cough. I have also had hoarseness and thrush. Not so sure these side effects outweigh the effect of the drug. My asthma is allergy triggered and I think I might be better off using something else. Worked great on my cholesterol, but nearly did me in. Side effects slipped up on me, at first I just thought I was getting mild arthritis, but the pain just kept getting worse until I hurt all day and all night.
