I wanted to respond to NEEDADVISEBAD "cry for help". I totally know what your going through. I've had this problem for years but I never knew what it was. I just found out today! I always thought I just had yeast allergens, but come to find out that's not the case. Since I started noticing symptoms I kept going to the doctor and they would always treat me for a yeast infection. Right after I got done with the medication it would get even worse. So I gave up with the doctors and started doing my own research. And I found a site that talk about bacterial infections and they said that studies have shown that taking antibiotics makes the infection worse. They had mentioned a natural supplement called Acidophilus. So I started taking it every day. With in a couple of weeks I started to notice a change in my skin and how I felt over all. I felt better. That was almost 10 years ago. I have been prescribed 5mg tablets every 8 hours following my surgery which I had 2 titainium rods screwed onto my spine to help with herniated discs. I also have an anxiety disorder so this is helping me in 2 ways since I haven't been taken anything for my disorder since nothing worked. Was prescribed after knee surgery. Worked somewhat, but developed a dependency on it and higher doses, followed by an increase in eosinophil count 225% above normal range. The constipation has made me dependent on laxatives, which has contributed to my weight loss. I think I need a rehab program to get off this stuff. I have been taking Lopressor for IBD and have not had any side effects except an occasional night of difficulty with sleeplessness. I started taking 60 mg/day and now am at the 40 mg/day week of the taper without any side effects that I had always heard about. I suppose the fact that I had lost 27 lbs in the 4 weeks in the hospital with no food may mean that the weight issues cannot be seen because of my extreme underweight at the present.
