Carvedilol seems to be controling my blood pressure allright. I have been using cozaar now for about six months, 50 mg., the generic version. My blood pressure has not really gone down enough, and i feel tired all the time. There is one benefit i experience which I have not seen mentoned in other reviews. My eyesight has improved because of cozaar. I have used this medication since it came out, except for a brief 6 month break in which I used Prestiq and Lyrica. Switching was a disaster! Amoxil is the best medication I have used. It controls the pain of fibromyalgia very well and the depression is relieved to a manageable degree. I take several other medications for bipolar, seroquel and topamax, and dexadrine so I can stay awake and alert during the day, and buspar for nighttime teeth grinding. It's a lot of meds, but I'm surviving. I live in the Pacific Northwest right now and the constant rain and dreary weather do not help, but we are moving and hopefully, the depression will improve with more sunshine. I highly suggest Amoxil. I know different meds work for different people, but this one is worth a try. I've used almost everyone out there and this is one of the best by far.
