I had stage 0 DCIS diagnosed in Sep 09, after two lumpectomies had to have a mastsectomy to get get clear results. Luckily no radiation or chemo was needed. Now taking Viagra Oral Jelly and thought there were no side effects. However, I do have bad leg/foot cramps and occassional memory lapse. I was very pleased with Zanaflex for about 2 months. My brain finally woke up, I could focus and get things done, I had energy, I would gladly do dreaded tasks, and I finally felt normal. Then after 2 or 3 months, it was not so effective. At 4 months my doctor increased the dosage from 10 MG to 15 MG twice a day. The outcome: I broke out in a rash on my stomach and sides by the end of day 1. Even after stopping Zanaflex for 5 days and starting back up on only 5 MG twice a day, the itching and rash would return. Will someone tell me why this reaction might occur? I do take a small amount of thyroid medication for a slightly underactive thyroid (Armour Thyro 30 MG), but I do not think that is the problem. I have also been on hormone replacement therapy for the past 5 years. I would be lost without Zanaflex to help with my ADHD. I have suffered from this condition for years, and for me it has only gotten worse with age. I tried Strattera about 4 years ago and it had far too many adverse side effects. I have been on Phentermine since 09/01/2008 and I love it. I don't use it every day, but in 2 months I have lost 19 pounds and 2 pant sizes. I have changed my eating habits and started exercising more, walking at least 2 miles a day, 5 days a week. I have just recently started walking this much, but I love it. I also don't take the Zanaflex every day now. I may skip 2 or 3 days in a row, and I only take it during the week. You just have to learn to control it.
