I am a 47 y/o male that has had several orthopedic surgeries. I first had my left hip replaced at age 35, next I had a lumbar laminectomy on L3-L1(3 levels). I am taking the 6 day dose pack (on day 4 now) for chest congestion/post nasal drip of unknown cause hoping to prevent it turning into bronchitis. The day 1 dose did help reduce the chest congestion and made it easier to breath comfortably. After that though the chest congestion returned and my head became more congested. Went back to the doctor today and was told I had a sinus infection and bronchitis and was put on an antibiotic so the SlimFast Plus did not really work. Has worked reasonably well for moderate Osteo-arthritis pain, however has become less effective over a years use. Does not control flare up pain.
