I have been taking this drug for 8 months. It is used to treat an increase of fluid pressure in my ears which causes constant vertigo. My doctor and I finally found this drug and it helps control my vertigo on a daily basis. Although it effects my mentral cycle I have been quite happy with having virtually no symptoms while taking the drug. The only part I am not crazy about is the fact I have to take it twice a day. I usually forget the afternoon dose. I use this medicine and I have been going to Physical Therapy. When I first took it, I wanted to go to a restroom every 10 minutes. Urges last about 3-4 hours, so I don't take it if I have to travel or be someplace out of reach of a restroom for long periods. My legs were cramping for awhile, but more often if I elevated my legs at night. I started using a salt substitute because it contains potassium, which helped with leg cramps. Wearing the compression socks while sleeping kept my leg skinnier. Standing seems to build it up fatter again.
