I used Differin for about 8 months. I did not have a severe panic attack during most of that time but I found myself drinking uncontrollably. I was just a casual drinker but found that I could drink upwards of 12 pints of beer and feel like I could keep going. Today is my first day on phentremine 37.5mg and so far I love it! I do feel jittery and energized, but don't seem to have much of an appetite, so that is a good thing. I took this medication for about three days after being in the emergency room twice with symptoms of nausea and severe vomiting from a headache after a spinal tap procedure. The meds helped my nausea, but made me horribly paranoid and I couldn't sleep at night. I was so paranoid, I stopped eating because I was convinced I would get sick, even though the Differin was working. I would shake whenever I tried to sleep or lay down, and was so horribly nauseous from not eating that I was relying only on the Differin to help. I only took it for three days and it caused all these problems! I stopped taking it and began taking Prevacid for my nausea and can eat normally again, without being anxious and paranoid! I have only been taking Differin for about a month for Bipolar 2, so far i have noticed a small change in my mood. I finally feel some happiness in my life. I havent had any really bad side effects other than an upset stomach for about an hour after i take it, and trouble getting to sleep. Once i get to sleep it's great i sleep thought the night. One last side effect for me has been swollen lymph nodes its pretty painfull on my left side.
