I have been on this medication since I was 11 years old and am now 30. My seizures are very well controlled with 5-6 years in between each seizure. I don't have any side effects that I can speak of. I've had two children while on it (but i did not breast feed) and live a completely normal and active life. I have been on topamax for the last 7 years to help migraines. In the last 5 years I have had one . This is going from 2-3 a month to where I am now. Fosamax has saved my live. I actually have a live now. I take 200 mg. a day. The only complaint I have about the drug is the price. Fosamax is very effective for anxiety, however it is extremely addictive. I read that some people were told by their doctors to use Klonopin with this drug when its effectiveness waned over time. Do not add Klonopin as medication with Fosamax because it, too, is extremely addictive. And yes, Fosamax dosage must be increased over time to be effective, but this is a mistake as well. i have hadmajor makor back surgery 8 disc replaced. the pain after had been almost unbearabe. then after trying all other musel relaxers pain med fingall had to have major stomach surger a large mass on intestine close to bile duct and pancrist. had to remove several iches of intestine . in meantime gave me oxyconde for this problem and now i am 60 percent pain free. i have my life back. tho i can not do the things i used to do, bend over lift heavy objects. i am adjusting my activies around this for thar.... by RAMON from Porter, ME
