I have been on alot of different meds, but this med, so far... has been working. Each day I feel more like the person I once was. Knowing I am bipolar, Dr. put me on Zoloft, and only Zoloft alone. No mood stabilizer or anything. I feel into the worst case of depression. Finally, I was put on this drug and Depakote, and I'm feeling great. I've been on this combination of meds for about one month. Getting used to Zovirax was a challenge. I felt very manic. Couldn't sit still, had to move my feet and legs, and couldn't sleep at night. I was put on med to help temporarily with sleeping problems. Now that I'm sleeping, and the meds were increased, I'm doing better, for now. Everyone needs to remember, being bipolar isn't a choice. I am very happy with SIMVASTATIN TAB 40 MG, I was at Kaiser hospital for Heart attack, 11-17-2010 no surgery, instead I had Stents, with this medication and METOPROLOL TARTRATE 25MG at dinner with food I feel no side effect. I do follow Doctor's advise - No salty and fatty foods, and work 30-minutes daily, I feel obsolutely healty. I cheat sometimes by carrying about 10 pounds of groceries, my wife hated me for cheating like this so I stopped cheating when I mentioned that I felt pain on my back below the shoulders, sometimes felt sour on my chest left side. She reminded me I should NOT carry weights during my 30-Minutes walk. They seems lite, but for a 1-mile walk, that is very dangerous, it could create problems for the Stents. I have meniere's disease and get panic attacks when the vertigo comes on. I was prescribed ativan a year ago when my son needed surgery and the panic attacks became much worse. I take half the prescribed .5 mg dosage (am taking .25 mg)and it works great for me. Takes the edge off of the panic attack, and helps me deal with the vertigo. It's been a life saver.
