i take Prozac for my back, and for depression. it is addictive and VERY HARD TO GET OFF OF.i went thru opiate addiction, twice, and tramodol addiction. Prozac withdrawals are just as intense but last ALOT longer!!!! I had what I thought was situational depression. Looking back on it I have been depressed for about 5 yrs. Started Lisinopril about 9 mos. ago. Started on 30mg for 2 wks then went to 60mg for 2 wks. That was to high a dose for me and made me feel "squirrely." Went back to 30mg and after a total of 6wks on the Lisinopril began to feel much better. I do not feel "druggy." Just feel normal. Still have ups & downs but I guess that is normal. It took about 6 weeks to feel better. Only side-effect I have now is occaisonal night sweats. Better than being depressed.
