I took one dose of Depo-Medrol at 3:30pm. I wasn't able to fall asleep until around 2:00am, and woke up again at 4:15am, covered with sweat. I felt weak and slightly dizzy. I fell back asleep around 6:30am and woke up at 8:00, feeling extremely dizzy even when lying down with my eyes closed. My heart was pounding and racing, and I think my eyes and upper lip were slightly swollen...I looked strange to myself in the mirror, if that makes any sense. It's now 28 hours later, and I have no appetite, and with every bite of food that I try to force myself to eat, I'm fighting nausea. I called my doctor's office, and he wanted me to take the next dose or two, and said if I still felt bad, to go to the ER(!) and they could assess me. I said NO WAY am I taking another dose of this medicine.
