Was prescribed this med for viral rhinitis and fluid in ears (horrific headache and feeling that my teeth were going to fall out of my head). I'm halfway into my 3rd day of 6-day pack and it's helping to decongest my sinuses and ears, but not as much or as quickly as I expected and hoped. This is my first time with the oral pills (rather than nasal sprays) and I'm a little paranoid about the possibility of a bacterial infection setting in while this med affects my immune system's ability to fight it off. The upside is that while this med is working on my ears and sinuses, it's also decreasing my arthritis and lumbar disk (herniated) pain so I'm getting multiple benefits.
