Diagnosed with RA Feb 2012 after 3 months of flare-up and pain. Went to bed and woke up with it after no previous signs of joint discomfort, it was like it came on overnite. Been on MTX for 2 months. Side effects have been mouth sores and nausea even after taking folic acid daily. Dr prescribed Leucovorin Calcium, taken 12 hours after taking MTX. Has help with mouths sores but not nasea and headache. Still would take Mtx than to have RA flare-ups by MAC from Hamburg, MI

took this drug for shoulder joint pain. After taking this drug for about 6 months (not on a daily basis) I notice i had trouble urinating. Thought I had prostate problems. I had some routine blood work done and was told my protein levels were off, and that i should see a hematologist. Stop taking this drug and in about 4 days I no longer have a problem urinating.not sure if this drug caused my protein level problem but i'm going to talk to my Dr about this. I use to use Lipitol then my physcian decided to change to Vytorin. My ins.is no longer paying for it so he changed me back to Lipitol. I have been back on Lipitol for about 2 months and now my back and hips are just hurting all the time.
