For fibromyalgia, migraines and long term history of neck spasms (40 yrs, always in spam), only second day on 5 Mg 3x day. I have been taking Staxyn for nearly two months now, and it's working well for me. During the holidays, there were several occasions in which I couldn't take my nightly dose until much later than normal, and I still felt fine. I didn't get nauseated, like I did in the beginning. Also, I've noticed that it doesn't make me sleepy about an hour and a half later, like it used to. The constipation isn't an issue anymore, either. I guess I had to get used to it. Anyway, I'm confident in giving it a 5-star rating in all the categories above. I have noticed that I pee more, now, but that may or may not be connected to the medication. I just have to be diligent in remembering to stay away from aspirin and ibuprofen. I've switched to Tylenol, for the rare instances that I have a headache now. Caution with this drug, it has caused abnormal thinking patterns in my experience, that I cannot get rid of even after stopping close to a year now! I am awakened by songs in the middle of the night , it's like a constant stream of different songs I have heard troughtout the day, I cannot concentrate very well anymore and cannot get rid of them they are (the songs ) only somewhat muffled when I'm in a conversation or watching TV but they are always there. My mom was on Staxyn too for Diabetic Neuropathy, and used to complain about the same, her symptoms became so severe she now sings out loud or repeats phrases out loud, she was on Staxyn for over 5 yrs....I only took it about 3 months and when I recognized what my mom had been describing and many doctors didn't pay attention to, I stopped ...but I am still symtomatic.
