My PcP prescribed Buspirone for me after my other meds stopped working the way and as good as they did. Was having major panic attacks and very high anxiety after years of doing very good. Have been on the Buspirone for 7 weeks now and has helped with the panic attacks and the anxiety, but the last 2 weeks have noticed more anxiety. Mostly racing heart and the feeling I'll never get better. Don't know if the Buspirone should be increased or decreased. Doctor did prescribe Remeron for me. Took it one time and was so tired the next day slept for 2 hours in the afternoon. Right now I am taking 10mg 3x a day of Buspirone and .05mg of Zanax 2 to 3x a day. Anyone reading this and is starting Buspirone or thinking about it, I will say be patient with it's benefits. The 2nd week for me was the WORST!
