Started taking Baclofen XL over a year ago and have had no change in mood and increased anxiety! This has been reported to my doctor who added Prozac and Seroquel to the combination. I maxed out on Baclofen at 450 mg and Prozac at 40 mg. My anxiety and panic attacks have grown out of control and haven't been able to convince the doc to put me on something else. Given med for treatment of symptoms secondary from TBI ( traumatic brain injury ) this med worsened thought processes; vision changes with blurred vision unable to see far distances, and floaters in visual field. Eye glass prescription had to be changed to bifocals ( previously had 20-20 vision. Caused confusion. And weight gain. I do not recommend this drug to any one. Baclofen is known to be sedative like with and represses inhibitions. It causes a mental fog where unable to make sound decisions.
