this is my first time on Diladid. Been taking Vicodin for years due to 2 back surgeries, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, facet arthritis, etc. Took 30 mg of morphine for 3 mos. and nearly died. Put me in respiratory distress and was on life support 4 days. Have been told this isn't same as morphine..anyone know? It seems to control pain pretty well with no side effects. Am taking 4 mg about 3 x day and I needed 20 mg of vicodin at least 4 x day..quite a change.
