I took Methocarbamol for 5 years and during that time I had muscle and joint pain. My doctor added glyburide to help control my sugar levels and a week later I could not use my arms and I had severe pain, At that time no one associated it with Methocarbamol. I am posting this mainly to say that as someone who is extremely sensitive to drugs and their side effects, I found this to be easy to adjust to and not very bothersome overall. I felt a little buzzed and had some digestive issues, but that was it. I took this drug for a total of 2.5 months, increasing gradually from 5-15 mg. With each new dose, I felt a wave of relief followed by a decrease in the effectiveness. By the time I reached 15 mg., I began to feel numb instead of relieved. This medication works for me. I honestly don't take it if it is too late, anytime after 11 is too late to take and to try to be functional by 8am.
