Medication works great for what it is prescribed. Feel great while taking it. I do have a problem with weight gain (40lbs over the past 4 years while on medication). I have tried several times recently to stop medication. I have had nothing but miserable side effects. Dizziness, faintness, headaches. Huge increase in blood pressure. I mean it goes from my normal of 135/78 to 195/110 within 5 days of stopping medication. I feel this can cause a lot of the unwanted side effects I have listed above. I was told by my doctor that a SLIGHT increase of blood pressure is normal during withdrawl. This does not seem slight. I am still on the medication and fighting to lose weight.
