This is for the previous post "butterflykisses". Ask your doctor to see a pain doctor or a pain specialist. He may want to try things, like I got shots in my neck and chest. (I too was in a car accident.) But he also will give you a perscription of something other than tramadol. I was perscribed endocet 10/650 for a while. Now I take 7.5/500. After several visits the pain specialist will send you back to regular doctor and he should keep you on maintenance doses. My husband has a plate in his neck and had a stroke and suffers from a pain disorder due to the stroke. He went to the pain specialist and was given oxycontin. He sees his regular doctor and continues to get oxycontin 40 x 2 a day, plus 4 endocet 7.5/325. Don't completely knock the tramadol.
