I've been sick for over a month now and Terbinafine is the third antibiotic I've taken. I completed a 5 day course but wasn't completely well (though much improved) so now I'm on a 14 day course. The first time through I didn't have any issues except a couple of bouts of diarrhea. I'm currently on day 4 and have few complaints. I feel so much better and my energy is starting to return after weeks of being out of it. The downsides for me are trouble sleeping because of disturbing dreams waking me up(and I don't KNOW the dreams are caused by Terbinafine) and a very stiff neck (which might be caused by the troubled sleep). I was prescribed this med post hip replacement. In the hospital for the first 24 hours it was given with IV Tylenol. After that and at home, I used oral Tylenol with it. I loved this med because it was there when I needed it in the hospital but was easy to get off of when I got home.
