I was prescribed Tenormin for Neuroapthy and as soon as I started taking it, found that I couldn't drive after a $4,000 + car accident and the feeling I was loosing my mind. I stopped taking it cold turkey and my legs and feet swelled up overnight, I found sores on the roof of my mouth like blisters and was always exausted. Doctor changed my 7.5mg - 3x's a day Rx to one 150mg at night. The swelling has gone down and the blisters are going away but I really want off of this drug. The craving you get are horrible. If you can, please don't start using. Ask your Psych about Buspar, natural remedies (Homeopathy) to releive anxiety. Take 5htp, or melatonin at night. See if calcium ingestion at night helps you sleep. There's a reason Dr's out there don't like to prescribe this, but other's unfortunately are too quick w/the pen. Remember you have choices.
