I started taking Trazodone about a year ago, it was perscribed by my doctor the help my insomnia. At first it couldn't get me to sleep at all but after a few weeks it would start making me drowsy around an hour after I took it. After taking it for awhile it began to lose it's effects, I went to see my doc and he upped the dose to 100 mg and I still have a little trouble getting to sleep initally, I don't wake up in the middle of the night anymore. But for the most part I've been doing rather well on the medication, only problem is that it makes me so groggy in the morning when I wake up that i'm like a zombie until a few hours after I take my Zoloft.
