be very careful,your doctor may not warn you of the side effects and withdrawal symptoms. after 5 weeks of taking pristiq at 50 mg. my blood pressure shot through the roof and it felt as if my head was going to pop off...i was never told when i stopped taking it i was going to be withdrawing very bad...throwing up not eating and i could not even lift my head without throwing up not to mention the throbbing pain from my neck to the tip of my head..my blood pressure remained sky high. only after googeling the drug did i find out it was addicting. by THANH from Buckeystown, MD
