When I first started it seemed OK but I had to take Xanex with it occasionally. Then after two years it just seemed to stop working, I hadn't had to take a Xanex with Norvasc for about 2 years then all of a sudden it's a couple times a week. 2007- I started with 500 mgs 3x per day, very nauseous to my stomach and actually painful. this did go away. I now take the ER form which I feel is better on my stomach. I still get stomach pains I find when I each too much carbs and then take the pill. I also notice that if I take other medications after taking met the other medications do not seem to work.
