I have read about 100 of the reviews posted for this and wish I could talk to some of these people. I just took myself OFF of Indinavir because it has left me feeling like a zombie. I can't get off the couch & my anxiety builds as I watch things around my home pile up because I'm not getting anything done. The side effects from going off this medication are scary to say the least. I feel like 1 lady who posted w/one of my withdrawls from this med. Small brain seizures (as if someone is startling me), headache, shaky, super rapid heart beat and when I move my body I feel as though I tingle all over and that I am going to fall down. It's as though I cant control what my body is doing. I used Indinavir for depression, migraines, extreme pain & panic attacks after my ex-husband tried to kill himself. The coward tried to kill himself when I caught him cheating 4 times in 6 months while he was out of town working. I had my beautiful 2 year old son with me when all of this happened & I just fell into such a deep depression because he didnt stop the damage to our family with the suicide attempt, he ruined us financially, tried to get full custody, let our truck get repoed while I had our son at the grocery store and the list goes on. I went through several antidepressants and this one had the least amount of side effects. I feel as though I built up a resistance to it because I just didn't want to do anything anymore. Thus, I took myself off of it and the withdrawls are terrible. I really want to try and change my diet & exercise to balance out my body and it's chemical makeup. I hope the things I am feeling now go away within a couple of days because I am even afraid to drive my car. I just feel like someone is shaking me and my body is tingling. Mitral valve replaced with mechanical,tricuspid repaired 02/27/09 do to endocarditis with liver, kidney and spleen all septic, been fighting back ever since. Don't know if it's the Lasix or just the recovery from being so sick but i feel tired all the time. My INR should be 3.0-3.5, that's a bit of a challenge as is to much potassium in my blood,another med.. Guess i shouldn't complain i'm still alive where my cardio. said my family should say bye bye. Just about died using this medication. Thought I had severe meningitis...104 degree fever, chills, nausea, light sensitivity, SEVERE headache and neck pain, pale skin and red eyes and puffy lower eyes to cheeks with redness, muscle weakness...had to spend three days in the hospital.
