I had bronchitis but the chest x-ray came back pneumonia so after 2 days of taking one anti-biotic the DR switched it to this one - the label states no calcium 8hrs before or 4 hrs. after taking it - after reading all these horrible side effects I am waiting for some to appear so far I do seem to have any but it does hurt when I take a deep breath but I think that is from my lung infection - when will I recover? It is too soon to tell in my case if this drug is working or not. I have been on it for 14 days, and at first the side affects were predictable when switching to a new med, overly emotional, anxious, etc. I also noticed nausia and diarreha like everyone else is mentioning, however, I had aso expected that because before taking this drug I read the "instructions manual". When a drug says "take with food" it means TAKE WITH FOOD!!! Only when I didn't take with food is when I had expirienced the nausia and diarreha So, crossing off all of those side effects, the only thing I have noticed that has been common in all other meds I have tried; night terrors.
