I posted a review for this antibiotic back in Aug 2011 describing what I did to while taking. I was perscribed by my dentist for an abcessed tooth (2x150mg 4 times a day). Had no problems while taking and it did clear up the infection. I am a perfectly healthy male infact haven't been to a doctor or ER in 20 years. About 4 weeks after finishing I developed a bad case of diarrhea that I have had multiple times daily for 6 weeks, with stomach discomfort, and have lost weight. To say that my life has been miserable for last six weeks would be an understatement especially since I drive truck for a living!! Yesterday I was informed that I tested positive for c-diff. This antibiotic caused my c-diff!! I am not allergic to any medication and my doctor couldn't figure out why I was perscribed this. My recommendation...DO NOT TAKE THIS ANTIBIOTIC!!!
