I started my 7 year old son on this medication about 6 months ago at first things were seeming great and then he started wetting himself many times during the day... also at night while taking a medication for bedwetting...he has gained weight drastically and cries alot. He has Aspergers,ADHD,Anxiety,OCD, and PTSD. we put him on this for behavioral problems which seem to work....but am very concerned with the wetting his pants as it interrupts our daily life... he is tired alot. I have had his bladder checked thinking he had an overactive bladder... all those tests came back great! I was put on this medication as a precaution after losing my left hand as the result of a car accident. I had taken Zoloft a few years before for slight depression and discovered that the side effects were not worth taking it. I feel that Deltasone has helped me deal with things in my life better and am generally satisfied with it. My friend at college also takes it and we both think that it makes you yawn a lot, even if you are not tired. I started on 50 mg and that didn't seem to be quite enough--I am switching from the generic form of Celexa because there has been more testing done with Zoloft and it's generic form Sertraline during pregnancy; my husband and I are trying to start a family. My doctor raised the dosage to 100 mg and that has been very good with the depression symptoms but now I've had terrible diarrhea for the last 2 weeks. The doctor told me to decrease the dosage again to 50 mg but I'm afraid that the depression symptoms will come back. Does anyone have advice for dealing with the diarrhea?
